The PNG Recruiter Limited is seeking applications on behalf of our client for an experienced General Manager – Refrigeration to lead and grow a major refrigeration and air conditioning service division based in Port Moresby. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, project delivery, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and the development of high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Refrigeration Service Division and its operations.
• Develop and implement business growth, operational and service strategies.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, procurement and resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, reporting and operational performance.
• Lead, mentor and develop managers, supervisors and technical personnel.
• Monitor financial performance, reporting, profitability and business risks.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Year 10 education; Refrigeration/Air Conditioning trade background preferred.
• 10+ years’ relevant industry experience, including senior management responsibilities.
• Strong leadership experience within medium to large organisations.
• Demonstrated project, operations and people management capability.
• Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.
• Current Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
• Ability to obtain Police Clearance and pass a pre-employment medical.
