Dentist General Practitioner
The PNG Recruiter Limited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and experienced Dentist General Practitioner. Our client is a growing Integrated Health Clinic Company committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to individuals, families, and corporate clients.
Position Location: Lae, PNG.
Position Type: 12-month Contract with view to extend to support service needs (as required).
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat under a General Practitioner scope.
- Perform routine dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and preventive care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive dental care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals.
Qualification Requirement
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a General Dentist, will consider new graduates who are successfully registered with the Medical Board.
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Papua New Guinea (or ability to obtain registration).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Required Skills
- Experience working in private practice or community dental clinics.
- Knowledge of modern dental technologies and digital record systems
- Experience in preventive and restorative dentistry.
