The PNG Recruiter Limited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager – Aviation Commercial Charters.

Our client is an established organisation operating within Papua New Guinea’s aviation sector. This is a senior commercial opportunity for an experienced aviation business development professional to drive the growth of charter services by identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic commercial initiatives, expanding the client base and increasing revenue.

Position Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong external commercial relationships and communication with key stakeholders, including domestic and international corporate clients, travel agents, Government agencies, international aid agencies and extractive resource-sector organisations.

• Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, emerging market trends and opportunities within a competitive aviation environment.

• Analyse customer needs and industry requirements to develop targeted business development strategies.

• Identify, develop and cultivate new business relationships and commercial opportunities.

• Develop and maintain a strong and sustainable sales pipeline.

• Prepare compelling commercial proposals and presentations tailored to the specific requirements of prospective clients.

• Lead commercial negotiations with clients covering pricing, service delivery and commercial agreements in conjunction with relevant internal stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Serve as a key point of contact for major accounts, effectively addressing client requirements and concerns.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Operations, Safety and Engineering to develop cohesive and effective commercial strategies.

• Establish and monitor appropriate metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business development initiatives.

• Regularly analyse and report on sales performance and adjust commercial strategies where required.

• Support the digitalisation of the commercial function, including the implementation and rollout of appropriate AI tools.

• Undertake other relevant responsibilities as required by senior management.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant industry experience.

• Proven experience in business development, sales or a similar commercial role within the charter industry.

• Strong understanding of charter services, aviation regulations, compliance requirements and market dynamics.

• Strong airline industry experience will be highly regarded.

• Previous experience within the aviation industry and/or Papua New Guinea or other emerging markets would be an advantage.

• Demonstrated track record of developing new business and achieving or exceeding sales targets.

• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to manage leads, contacts and commercial opportunities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis, including pricing models, cost-benefit analysis and budgeting to support commercial decision-making and profitability.

• Ability to travel as required.

AVIATION CHARTER MANAGER – MINING, OIL & GAS

The PNG Recruiter Limited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly experienced and commercially driven Aviation Charter Manager with strong experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas sectors.

Our client is an established organisation operating within Papua New Guinea’s aviation sector, providing aviation services to corporate, government and resource-sector clients.

Position Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the charter aviation market, with a particular focus on Government, Mining, Oil & Gas and other resource-sector clients.
  • Maintain and oversee existing charter contracts, ensuring contractual obligations and service requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), safety standards and contractual requirements.
  • Conduct contract reviews and risk assessments to identify operational, commercial and safety risks.
  • Manage and participate in contractor audits to ensure compliance with required safety and performance standards.
  • Prepare detailed contract performance reports for senior management.
  • Assess contract profitability, operational efficiency and associated risks and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments and modifications in alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Conduct research into Papua New Guinea’s charter aviation market to identify emerging trends, commercial opportunities and potential new markets.
  • Provide commercial insights on competitors, market conditions and pricing strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new charter contracts and strategic partnership opportunities.
  • Develop customised charter solutions for corporate, Government and resource-sector clients.
  • Negotiate and secure new business agreements with organisations requiring charter aviation services.
  • Oversee service delivery for charter clients and ensure operations meet agreed contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate the effective execution of charter flight schedules, ground handling and associated logistics.
  • Address and resolve service delivery issues to maintain client satisfaction and contract integrity.
  • Work closely with flight operations, ground services and maintenance teams to ensure reliable service delivery.
  • Monitor aircraft availability and scheduling against contractual commitments.
  • Develop and maintain regular charter performance reports and key operational indicators.
  • Implement initiatives to improve on-time performance, minimise cancellations and improve overall operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification, preferably in Business, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial contracts.
  • Experience with Mining and/or Oil & Gas aviation contracts in Australia, Asia or South Africa will be highly regarded.
  • Previous experience working in Papua New Guinea or other emerging market economies would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of commercial aviation, charter operations and contract management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to assess contract profitability, operational performance and risk.

Our client is a growing Integrated Health Clinic Company committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to individuals, families, and corporate clients.

Position Location: Base in Port Moresby – Roster 4 weeks shift On Site /2 weeks Off Shift.
Employment Type: Project Based Role with Roster 4 weeks On Shift /2 weeks Off Shift – Off shift is no pay.

Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat under a General Practitioner scope.
• Perform routine dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, and preventive care.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive dental care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals.
Qualification Requirement
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a General Dentist, will consider new graduates who are successfully registered with the Medical Board.
• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Papua New Guinea (or ability to obtain registration).
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have valid police clearance.

This leadership position is responsible for managing workshop operations, driving productivity, maintaining quality standards, and leading a high-performing technical team in Port Moresby.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop.
  • Plan and allocate workloads to achieve production targets.
  • Oversee fabrication, installation support and workshop quality standards.
