Medical Officer – Filipino Citizen (Paediatric)
The PNG Recruiter Limited is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a motivated and patient-focused Medical Officer. Our client is a growing Integrated Health Clinic committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services to individuals, families, and corporate clients. Our client is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced Medical Officer (General Practitioner) with Pediatric experience and qualification to join their dynamic healthcare team.
Position Location: Lae, PNG.
Position Type: 12-month Contract with view to extend up to 3 years (as required)
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Provide preventive, family, and primary healthcare services.
- Conduct medical assessments, health screenings, and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure high standards of patient care.
- Participate in emergency response and clinical quality improvement activities.
Requirement & Skills
- Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Filipino Medical Doctor with valid professional credentials.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in General Practice/Primary Healthcare.
- Proven capability and experience in pediatric assessment, diagnosis, and management.
- Current PNG ATP Registration (or eligible for registration).
- Previous work experience in Papua New Guinea preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient management skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
